… and next week, all over again.

Automating processes that come back every week

A big chunk of working time goes into stuff that has little to do with the actual work. For example:

  • The same data sits in Excel, in the inventory system and in accounting, and someone keeps it all in sync.drop the double entry
  • Invoices and delivery notes arrive as PDFs and get opened, read and filed.AI reads, the workflow files
  • The monthly report gets copied together from scratch every month.a fixed rule, no AI needed

And honestly, not all of it needs AI. Sometimes a fixed rule or a changed process is enough. If that's the case, I'll tell you.

Each one only takes a few minutes. Over a year and across a whole team, it adds up.

From AI consulting to automation that keeps running

I work as a one-person AI agency: consulting, implementation and ongoing support all come from me. You explain your process once, and the same person builds it later.

AI consulting and process analysis

Together we find the processes that eat up time and work out what can be automated and what can't. You end up with a clear order to start with.

Automation and AI agents

Recurring work is handled by a workflow, a chain of steps that runs on its own. Where fixed rules aren't enough, AI agents step in. They understand text and prepare decisions. If there's no suitable program for your process, I build one.

AI with data protection

I set up AI so you know which data goes where. Depending on the data, it runs on Azure OpenAI in a data center in the EU or on your own server. I also give guidance on the EU AI Act and train your team. This is implementation, not legal advice.

Introducing AI in your business, step by step

First I understand how work gets done in your business. Then I automate.

  1. Intro call

You tell me where things get stuck. I tell you whether automation would help there. 45 minutes via video call, free.

  2. Proposal

In the second call you get a proposal: where we start, how we'll know it works, and the fixed price.

  3. Starter project

We start with a small building block with a fixed scope. The goal is to have the first automation running within two to four weeks. If it doesn't meet the agreed criteria, I fix it at no extra cost.

  4. Rollout and handover

An automation is only finished when your team uses it. That's why I walk everyone through the new process live. You get all access credentials, the documentation and the workflow files, the result belongs to you. I take care of operation and maintenance if you like.

Sebastian Mareck

Sebastian Mareck, AI consultant between business and technology

For years I was the one translating between business departments, IT and external providers. At Ernst Klett Verlag, a German educational publisher, I worked as a project manager and introduced a tool that automatically processes thousands of images per month. It went live after about six months, and image editing took around 30% less time.

My studies focused on human-computer interaction. That's where the question comes from that I ask about every solution: will people actually use it?

Since August 2026 I've been building my own AI systems. Right now I'm working on my first pilot project, a math learning platform in Switzerland. Until the end of January 2027 I'm on Tenerife with Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, an EU exchange program, and I work remotely, in German and English. When I'm not at the computer, I DJ in the Brazilian Zouk scene as DJ Sebastiao.

Frequently asked questions about AI automation

What does it cost?

The intro call is free. After that, we start with a small starter project with a fixed scope and a price we agree on in advance. For larger projects, we work out together what the process costs you today in time and money. That way you can see whether automation pays off before anything gets built.

How long does it take until the first automation is running?

The goal is to have it running within two to four weeks. The exact time depends on the process and on the software you use. You'll see the schedule in the proposal before we start.

Which businesses is this a good fit for?

Small and medium-sized businesses with roughly 5 to 250 employees, and self-employed professionals who lose time to recurring office work. I don't limit myself to one industry. I work remotely, in German and English, via video call.

I don't have an IT department. Can this still work?

Yes, absolutely. Businesses like yours are exactly who I do this for. I explain every step so you can follow it without technical knowledge, and I document everything. If you like, I'll keep looking after operation afterwards.

Which data goes to which AI service? Can it run on our own server?

We decide that together before building, and it depends on the kind of data. For data without personal information, such as product data or text drafts, you're free to pick any AI model. For personal data like emails, customer data or invoices, Azure OpenAI is a good option: the models run in European data centers, and your data isn't used for training. For especially sensitive data, an open AI model runs on your own server in the EU.

Who owns the solution, and who maintains it?

The solution belongs to you and runs in your own accounts. You get all access credentials, the documentation and the workflow files and can carry on yourself or hire another provider. If you like, I take care of bug fixes, updates and small adjustments. You don't have to commit long-term.

What's the difference between classic automation and AI automation?

Classic automation follows fixed rules, for example: when an invoice arrives, it gets filed in the right folder. That's reliable as long as everything follows the pattern. AI comes in where content needs to be understood, like a freely worded email or a PDF that looks different every time. Usually a mix works best: fixed rules wherever possible, and AI only where it's needed.
